He served in the United States Army and has a decorated background and selfless humanitarian always giving others the shirt off his back if anyone is in need. Born in Richmond and raised in Southampton County, James, who is now 88 years old, is known for his gentle spirit, wisdom, senior elder, and always selflessly offering a helping hand. “I’m inspired by the people who suffered and the people who sacrificed for me to be still here today. Mr. McGee is adamant about ending this racial divide and if his work via paintings or leadership within FAMILY 4 ETERNITY can do anything to contribute to the ending of it, I want to do it. … If it’s unity, I want to be a part of it made it clear he is not in this for himself.
