Jeff Fox

Jeff has been born and raised in Southampton County his entire life. Jeff is a multi-generational farmer and has farmed his entire life. His main employer, was with the Department of Corrections for over 30 +years until his retirement. Jeff has a variety of tasks and duties depending on their area of specialization, which includes conducting field visits and surveys to assess the needs of community garden to serve the rural communities, providing technical guidance and training on best practices, developing and implementing plans for agricultural development, monitoring and evaluating the impact of agricultural interventions, liaising with other stakeholders to coordinate agricultural activities, and advocating for agricultural issues. Additionally, Jeff advises on technologies and innovations in crop production, animal husbandry, soil and water management, pest and disease control, post-harvest handling, food security, natural resource conservation, and raising awareness among farmers and the public.

Jeff currently manages over 15 crops in the Family 4 Eternity Community Garden. He plays a vital role in working our crops to ensure the underserved rural residents of Southampton county get fresh foods delivered to their doorstep as a supplement to the various donations of other food partners. Jeff also plays a vital with the USDA and Family 4 Eternity’s request for a greenhouse. He ensures Family 4 Eternity is in compliance with all applicable regulations and is an expert in his subject matter.
